To prevent tunneling, let your candle burn for 3-4 hours or until the melted wax has reached the edge of the jar. Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time and allow the wax to completely cool before relighting. Do not trim the wick – the wicks are pre-trimmed to 3/4 of an inch for an optimal first-time burn.
S T A Y S A F E
Before you re-burn your candle, remove any mushrooming from the wick. Lighting a mushroomed wick could result in high flames and excess soot. We recommend using a wick trimmer or a sharp pair of scissors. Avoid using your fingers to trim the wick as you may make the wick too short. Try to keep your candle at least 2-3 feet away from anything flammable. Please ensure your candle is on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets. Your candle jar may be hot after you extinguish your candle – handle with caution. We recommend not touching your candle until the wax has fully cooled.
